  • 16 oz button mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1½ tsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp minced fresh thyme (or ½ tsp dried thyme)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the orecchiette in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté sliced mushrooms for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Add minced garlic and cook for another few minutes until fragrant.
