  • 1 box favorite cake mix
  • 1 3.4 oz box instant pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • Candy melts
  • Toppings (sprinkles, candy eyes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 13 x 9 inch pan with vegetable spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil for about 2 minutes until blended.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  4. Once cooled, crumble the cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
  5. Mix in frosting until combined and moist enough to hold shape.
  6. Roll the mixture into one-inch balls and chill them in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
  7. Melt candy melts in short bursts in the microwave until smooth.
  8. Dip one end of each stick into melted candy melts before inserting it into each chilled cake ball.
  9. Dip each pop fully into melted candy melts, allowing excess to drip off.
  10. Decorate with toppings while coating is still wet.
