  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 28 oz marinara sauce
  • 24 oz potato gnocchi
  • 4 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • pepper
  • fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large sauté pan, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add olive oil, chopped onions, minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper; sauté for 3-5 minutes until onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce and chicken broth; cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes.
  4. Add potato gnocchi to the pan; cover again and simmer for another 10 minutes until tender.
  5. Stir in mozzarella cheese until melted. Top with grated Parmigiano Reggiano before serving.
